We're hiring a graphic designer!
Park Signs is a company for self-starters and entrepreneurial spirits. The graphic designer is responsible for creating a variety of design elements and layouts on different mediums. This position requires a vast understanding of industry standards and the best practices for design.

Responsibilities:

Develop concepts and designs for any client projects assigned: including signs, logo design, packaging design, collateral materials, and website design as needed.

Vinyl sign production and large-format digital printing experience a PLUS

Mounting graphics on various substrates, including vehicles

Ability to pre-flight and troubleshoot customer-designed digital files, load fonts, inspect and refine and convert graphics into vector art, and make color separations for direct-to-plate output

Operate all large-format printing machines, copying, folding, bindery, and all other production equipment.

Understand the client’s business/communication goals and ability to translate them into unique creative solutions.

Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies and design projects.

Meet all design deadlines.

Assist with special events creative, set up and breakdown as needed.

Think creatively to produce new ideas and execute them with unique methods and production techniques.

Brainstorm and sketch out concepts for clients and agency marketing tactics.

Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly Adobe Creative Suite programs and Wordpress.

Stay within budget and track all time in project management software.

Assist team with brainstorming, marketing and advertising concepts.

Maintain all client file archives with appropriately named and organized folders.

Communicate any problems, concerns or suggestions to the leadership team.
Requirements & Skills:

3+ years of design experience in a full-service agency setting.

Full knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of all aspects of electronic pre-press applications including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Other digital design software knowledge is a plus.

An extensive understanding of all creative disciplines, including conceptual and executional (art direction, user experience, copy, and motion). Inspires and leads by example, setting professional standards for the team and the department.

Strong design intuition and a keen sense of what can work in the future/not what has worked in the past.

Rich history in design, branding and packaging (experience in sign production a huge plus).

This is a full-time position and compensation will be based on experience.
